Welfare and Safeguarding

All qualified coaches within TCGB have received Safeguarding training and, as an association, we are committed to the highest standards of safety and welfare in Taekwondo. Coaches are all responsible for providing members with a safe environment in which to train and are required to take special care to protect children and vulnerable adults.

Anyone who coaches, volunteers at, or has anything to do with the administration of running any of our individual member clubs and comes in contact with children or vulnerable adults, is required to read and sign our Code of Conduct. This is available as a download from this website along with the TCGB Safeguarding Policy (see Downloads section).

Safeguarding training can be arranged for TCGB clubs and advice and support can be accessed through the TCGB Welfare Officer, Master Steve Aldis. He can be contacted via email ( or by phone at any time day or night (07414 571519).
